In the first half of 2026, China's total import and exportvolume of goods reached 25.47 trllion RMB, hitting a record high for the same period. Exports of the "New Three Products"new energy vehicles, lithium batteries and photovoltaic products maintained rapid growth. Exports of industrial robots, snmedical equipment and other "Emerging Three Products" achieved remarkable growth.
In terms of market structure, private enterprises remain the main force of foreign trade. Imports and exports with Belt and Ropartner countries registered steady growth. Industry analysts point out that an increasing number of foreign trade enterpriseare avoiding risks brought by over-reliance on a single market and accelerating layout in emerging markets including the MicEast, Central Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Insiders remind exporters that market access regulations worldwide are tightening continuously. Enterprises shall conduct
advance self-inspections on certification, labeling and environmental rules to lower customs clearance risks.
